I Want to Hold Your Hand

September 9, 2011

Every indescribable eon,
this brain wants something to pee on,
not in an animalistic sense,
but in a markedly masculine way
one upping my neighbor and finding reasons why im better
in the end, for every action and thought I will pay
relive the pain as the harm is undone
I cannot live in Zion with arrows and spears in my side
It’s now or never to rearrange my mind
A solemn swear to speak God’s truth and put it to action too
uplifting the love leak called lust
heavenly justice jeopardizes jealousy’s stronghold
greed is then negated by the gift of grace
hate also hard to hard
but all these things forgiven
in tune with sincerity’s serenity
Lord let me not fall to sin again
I take your hand, Amen
